Glossary Terms

Monthly Searches - number of searches for the keyword in the search engine.

CPC - Cost per click based on USA Google Adwords

Competition - Number of total pages in the search

Competition (Quotes) - Number of total pages with the keyword in quotes in the search

Comp (AllInTitle) - A Google search function that allows a restricted search to show only those pages with the search terms specified in the webpage's title.

BackLink Count - the number of external sites linking back to the domain.

Ref Domain - Referring domain is a website which has a backlink pointing to a page, or link, to the site being analyzing.

TF - Trust Flow, from Majestic, is a score (on a 100-point scale) based on quality. Sites closely linked to a trusted seed site can see higher scores, and sites that may have some questionable links would see a much lower score.

DA - Domain Authority, from Moz, is a score (on a 100-point scale) that predicts how well a website will rank on search engines.

PA - Page Authority, from Moz, is a score (on a 100-point scale) that predicts how well a specific page will rank on search engines.

KW Title - Keyword is in the title of ranking page.

KW URL - Keyword is in the domain of the ranking page.

KW H TAGS - Keyword is the headline tags on the ranking page.

Difficulty Score Box
The score is based on multiple factors to give it an estimated idea on how easy it will be to break into the top 10 in a Google search. This score takes 3 sites with the lowest authority/metrics and then provides an estimate on how difficult or easy it will be to break into the top 10.

  0-13 : Very Easy
14-17 : Easy
18-26 : Moderate
27-33 : Difficult
34-39 : Very Difficult
40-45 : Extremely Difficult
